With the media force-feeding you its perception of the “perfect” body, it can be hard to know what fit actually means; and contrary to popular belief, being sculpted and skinny doesn’t equal being fit. Being fit is about much more than looking sexy in your clothes. After all, you can look good and still be unhealthy. The Fit and Female Brand was created to be a safe space where body positivity thrives. Here, women are free to define “fit” for themselves with zero judgment. Living by the brand’s mantra of Strong.Motivated.Happy., women in the Fit and Female Program are invited to increase their running performance, lose weight, gain strength, and navigate pre/postnatal training.

Sis, You Are Your Own Body Goals!

Tiffany Templeton is a Women’s Fitness Specialist and owner of Fit and Female Fitness Program, Fit and Female Activewear, Sweat the City Women’s Fitness Community, Founder of 3 Point. Won, 5K Training Program, and an On Running Global Ambassador. With a concentration in weight loss, strength gaining, pre/postnatal strength training, and running, she is passionate about encouraging conversations around mental health as it relates to fitness, diversity in the fitness space, and continuing to encourage black women and women of color to live healthier lifestyles.

Tiffany has found herself at the forefront of a movement to transform traditional fitness culture, with a specific focus on creating more spaces, experiences, and amplifying the voices for black women and women of color fitness enthusiasts to thrive, learn, and grow.

Since falling in love with fitness in 2012 and battling her own issues with food, weight, and mental health, Tiffany turned her passion for fitness into a thriving career in fitness entrepreneurship. Her love of fitness came after winning Miss Henderson State University and placing in Miss Arkansas, as fitness is a large component of excelling in pageantry. It was then amplified after moving to the DC area in 2017 where she made several connections in the running and fitness spaces. Those connections lead to life-long friendships and now she has fitness partners for life! Through fitness, Tiffany is able to foster community and inspire others to build the healthy body they want, gain the mindset they need, and continue to strive to make our health a priority.

Fit and Female is an uprising of black women, women of color, and anybody who feels like they don’t “fit” in this space and who are committed to working to achieve your goals and striving to achieve the body and confidence you want – not what society pushes on you. Sound like you? Then, YOU belong here.

Tiffany is an Arkansas native, a proud member of the Iota Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sororty Inc., and lives in Maryland with her adorable Yorkie-Terrier, Mister.
